About

I strive to combine the skills I’ve gained through my diverse upbringing, including surfing, fishing, ranching, and a “do it yourself” mentality, with what I’ve learned in science to better understand how we can fit within the natural systems that we regularly immerse ourselves in as resource users.

My long-term goal is to bridge the gap between scientific endeavor and the people of the places where research is conducted.
